Tony Gibson started the company way back in 1988 with little more than a big vision and the will to make it happen. Back then, it was all karaoke for the newly born Planet Entertainment. Tony was the head compere, running karaoke nights from Sydney to Thredbo seven nights a week. After a rep suggested he look into the sumo suits as a great way to build on the karaoke success he was having in the bar scene, a business began to take shape. More then 20 years of entertaining countless crowds, Planet Entertainment's strong success can be owed to the leadership and strength of Tony Gibson.
